Horseback Riding - Snow Canyon Trail Rides

Explore the Paradise of Snow Canyon State Park on Horseback. Southern Utah’s Ultimate Experience! Whether you are an experienced rider or riding for the first time you will have the adventure of a lifetime viewing the rising Red and White Navajo Sandstone cliffs that are layered with black lava flows. The unique advantage of being on horseback with one of our professional guides will allow you to take in many of the colorful desert plants and the opportunity to view the elusive wildlife that roam the park which includes desert tortoises, quail, roadrunners, kit foxes, coyotes, as well as the peregrine falcons flying above it all.

Package 1:

The awe-inspiring landscape along with our outstanding personal service makes this trail ride one of the most appealing trail rides in the nation. One hour rides can be scheduled from 10:00 am thru 1:00 pm and 3:00 pm thru 5:00 pm.

Package 2:

Extend your ride and you’ll discover why the magnificent views and dramatic backdrop inspired Hollywood to film some of the greatest western movies of all time here on location in Snow Canyon. Movies like Broken Arrow, Jeremiah Johnson, The Conquerors as well as parts of Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. Daily rides from 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm. 90 minutes on the trail.

NOTE: Additional rides can be scheduled in the cool summer days at Pine Valley Mountain, just 30 minutes north of St. George.

Patty Arnett of Snow Canyon Trail Rides is a knowledgeable and experienced horsewoman. Patty has over 30 years of experince owning a training stables, competing at the international level (her stallion medaled at the Olympics), breeding horses and operating enjoyable and safe trail rides in Snow Canyon State Park.
